The Yellowhammer belongs to the field sparrows. It feeds mainly on seeds it picks from the ground, but during the breeding season the offspring are often fed with insect larvae. The bird generally breeds in open ground sheltered by bushes, such as on cultivated fields, on enclosed pastures and in clearings. The photograph was taken in Enhagen, Asköviken.
