The White Water-lily is a nymphaeid, a plant which has floating leaves and is rooted at the bottom. It grows all over the country and is common in Asköviken. The leaf lamina is almost round, unlike that of the Yellow Water-lily, which is more oval. The White Water-lily displays its magnificent white flowers from June to August.
