The Greylag Goose is Europes commonest goose. In Sweden it breeds in reeded lakes and other inland sites, which also form the chief habitat of the species on the main body of the European Continent. It feeds on grain, grass, and water plants. Like all geese, the greylags mate for life. They can get to be more than 20 years old. Photo: Christer Svensk |
