The European Greenfinch generally breeds in gardens, parks and areas with cultivated farmland. It feeds on seeds and is often a regular customer at the bird-table. Swarms of them are often to be seen on the rape fields in the late summer. The photograph was taken in Enhagen, Asköviken.
